Medical Translation Pricing
How much does it cost to translate a medical document?

The cost of medical translation is one of the most important questions our clients ask. Our pricing is fully transparent and based on objective criteria — never arbitrary. Since each medical document is unique in its complexity and terminology, the final price depends on several key factors.
On this page, we will clearly explain what determines the cost of medical document translation and how you can receive an exact quote for your specific case.
Key Pricing Factors
1. Document Volume
Pricing is primarily based on the document's volume, calculated by character count (1 page = 1,800 characters). This is the standard unit used to determine the base rate for translation.
2. Medical Complexity and Terminology Level
Not all medical documents carry the same level of complexity. For example, the translation of Form 100/a is different from that of an advanced oncology report or clinical trial protocol. The more specialized and terminology-dense the text is, the more expertise and time it requires — which directly affects the price.
3. Turnaround Time
If your translation is needed urgently, we offer an express service with priority handling. In such cases, the cost is adjusted accordingly, as the task requires immediate allocation of medical experts — often outside standard working hours.
4. Additional Services: Notarization & Delivery
If you require notarial certification, we can manage the entire process on your behalf. Additionally, we can send the completed, certified translation to your address via courier. These services are optional and charged separately from the translation itself.
What is included in the service?
Our medical translation fee does not simply cover converting text from one language to another. You are paying for specialized accuracy and professional accountability — a service that goes far beyond standard translation.
Physician-Supervised Medical Translation
Every document is translated not only by a certified linguist but also reviewed by a practicing medical doctor. This guarantees a precise understanding of complex clinical context and terminology — something that cannot be achieved through linguistic knowledge alone.
Editing and Terminological Accuracy Review
Your translation goes through a strict dual-stage revision. After linguistic proofreading, the document is reviewed and finalized by a medical specialist — ensuring 100% terminological accuracy and consistency with real clinical standards.
Full Confidentiality and Data Protection
We recognize the sensitivity of medical information. All documents are protected by a dual guarantee — strict data protection regulations and the ethical standards of medical confidentiality.
